Last year, when we found out that Kathy was pregnant, we made a ‘bun in the oven’ costume for her and I went in a chef’s coat and hat. Now I’m probably going to have to pull last year’s costume out again since Madeline is going as a chili pepper. We have to get away from the food related themes.

We take a lot a pictures of our daughter. A lot. I have a few displayed on my Flickr account, but no where near the amount we have actually taken. You may call it a bit of overkill, but hey we’re new parents.
You may also chalk it up to the fact that I have approximately four pictures of myself as an infant. I’m not sure if there was a shortage of 35mm film in the early ’70s to go along with the oil embargo or if my parents just didn’t think it prudent to chronicle the life of their second child.
Anyhow, I made it a point to take a lot of pictures of Madeline. Whether or not they show up on this blog or flickr rest assured their will be a lot of great shots of her as a baby to embarrass her during her high school years.
