CWSA March Meeting: Making the Case for Standards
February 27th, 2008
The first Tuesday of March is fast approaching and that can only mean one thing. It is time for another meeting of Cleveland Web Standards Association. Oh, yeah. There is some talk about an important primary in Ohio taking place on the same day or something, but I’m sure it isn’t a big deal. ;)

The meetup in March will focus on making the case for web standards which will be split into two separate presentations. Joseph Frantz will be covering the benefits of using web standards from a developer’s perspective. Alexis Li will discuss making the case to the business community.
As always there will be a question and answer session after the presentations are finished. One thing I would like to request from attendees is that you stay after the Q & A for an impromptu social hour. It is always great to meet new people and share thoughts and ideas about what is going on in the web industry. So if your schedule permits, please stay and get to know your fellow geeks.
You can RSVP for the meeting on either Meetup.com or Upcoming.org.

Impromptu social hour? Pretty sure that turns into hourS. he.
I am excited for this session as well, I know Mr. Frantz has been preparing for this.

I’m looking forward to the pre-planned impromptu social hour(s) as well.
I hear you are treating us to a seafood buffet?

@Nate - Yeah, they do tend to stretch for a while. But the time does fly!
@Josh - I guess it’s not too spontaneous if I blog about it now is it? ;)
As for the seafood buffet… Wasn’t Joe Frantz supposed to do an omelette bar this time around?

Impromptu my foot. But it would be really cool if people stayed and networked a little bit.
